What does it do?

As standard, the web kit supports properties for sale, long term rentals, short term lets, leasehold and part-ownership. Properties are fully searchable and each one is displayed with a gallery of photos, a location map and links for making an enquiry, book-marking and telling a friend about the property.

The kit accommodates as many languages as required, displays up to two currencies, and also includes access to a currency calculator. It allows the customisation of property groups, even hiding specific ones from being displayed.

Finally, the kit comes complete with an administration control panel that permits the customisation and configuration of the kit.

How does it work?

There are four main components to the web kit:

  1. A database containing property information.
  2. A set of web pages for searching, listing results and showing property details and photos.
  3. A password protected administration panel to configure language, currency and navigation options.
  4. A collection of template pages to customise exactly how the web site will operate and look.

The web kit is designed to be installed on a Microsoft IIS web server and uses the ASP scripting language. There's also a version of the kit for Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP environments.

  • Compatible with all web browsers from Netscape and Internet Explorer versions 4 onward; differences in fonts styles and table colours exist where older browsers do not fully support CSS, but pages remain fully functional.
  • Screen resolution of 800x600 and higher are supported without any horizontal scrollbars.
  • Available in PHP/MySQL and ASP/Access versions to suit Linux and Windows hosting environments.
